Umpiring

Match Night are always looking to recruit new umpires.  If you have never umpired before, working towards a qualification or already an experienced umpire - all are welcome and catered for at Match Night.

Umpiring is a very worthwhile, rewarding, social and enjoyable role. It is also a really flexible and fun way to earn some extra money.

Umpires will be fully supported by the league and we are keen to see you develop as an umpire and enjoy the experience of umpiring in our leagues.

Umpires are highly valued at Match Night, as without you simply there is no netball!

Umpires will receive a very competitive fee for their services and will have flexibility to choose when and how often you would like to umpire.

New to Umpiring

We appreciate it is a little nerve racking when you first start to umpire, however, please be assured Match Night will support you fully and we have an umpire programme in place for new umpires.

We will work with you to develop you as umpire within the league and gain the valuable experience you need.  Match Night will also pay for your Into Officiating Course.

One of the major goals at Match Night is to develop more and more umpires to help not only our leagues but the continued growth of this fantastic sport in UK.
